TITLE : Principal Developer I
LOCATION : Charlotte, North Carolina
JOB SUMMARY : Develop, modify, enhance, and implement applications designed to automate Service Engineering tasks. Create software tools that assist in multiple aspects of service deployments; build and deploy required applications and tools; and architect network solutions, utilizing Python and JavaScript, to meet business requirements. Develop and implement unit, regression, and user acceptance software testing standards and automation of testing. Code, test, debug new and existing software; develop and maintain software documentation; write programs and participate in code review sessions to validate adherence to development standards. Provide feedback on estimated timelines and resources required to complete identified projects, automation of tasks, and streamlining of customer changes and activations to meet stated business goals and needs.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field; 4 years of experience in software development utilizing Python; in software development utilizing JavaScript; in software testing including the development of standards for unit, regression, and user acceptance testing; in system design and architecting solutions based on business requirements; and 3 years of experience designing, managing, and administering databases.
