Job description
A brand new opportunity just became available for a Hospital Pharmacist at an award winning hospital in an exception historical city near Lake Tahoe.
The Hospital Pharmacist will join this trusted 200+ facility. This hospital relies on the creativity and positive mindset as well as perfected medical skills of their employees which allows such an amazing facility to excel.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Hospital Pharmacist will work with a great team of Clinical Pharmacists and Pharm Techs to serve Acute Care patients with various medical needs. The Hospital Pharmacist will consult with Providers and provide patient education on medications and adverse reactions. The Hospital Pharmacist will serve as an expert for the healthcare team including Nurses, to provide Drug and Treatment Education.
The Hospital Pharmacist will perform other duties as assigned such as drug utilization reviews, inventory management, participate in staff meetings, collaborate with the patient care teams, and provide optimal patient and family customer service.
The Hospital Pharmacist will flourish in this vibrant city, offering an array of activities and attractions to cater to different interests. There are beautiful sights and shops to explore. As well as countless outdoor recitation areas within and around the city, including biking, swimming, boating, and winter recreational sports.
The Hospital Pharmacist must have clinical experience and experience in Oncology preferred. The Hospital Pharmacist must be familiar with sterile compounding, Pyxis, and Epic.
