Job description
Who/What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade . Our month-long training class will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands-on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training.
Our HVAC Install Helper class will teach candidates how to:
- Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
- Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
- Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes
- Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and have a good driving record
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Meet all attendance and dependability requirements
- Team player
Training:
- F.H. Furr will provide all the training required for this position
