Job description

As the Environmental Remediation Project Manager , you will manage complex projects and associated risks within PPG's corporate organization. Responsibilities include minimizing environmental liabilities; protecting the asset value of land for PPG through overall management of existing on-site and off-site remediation projects; lead site assessments for acquisitions or divestitures of businesses or properties; lead periodic assessments of owned and operated properties; and lead assessments in response to episodic events on a global basis. You will serve as a technical expert and also periodically support Environmental Affairs in areas such as: compliance, auditing, management systems and operational risk management. You will be based at the Monroeville Business Technology Campus located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania requiring working at the office three days per week.

You will report to the Corporate Director of Environmental Affairs and also represent PPG in consortium and trade organizations and work to improve PPG’s remediation image among peer organizations.
