Key Responsibilities: - Customer Needs Analysis: Work closely with our active customers to understand their unique needs and translate those needs into product recommendations that align with their objectives.
- Sales Growth: Identify new sales opportunities for current customers. This includes advising customers on expiring support or maintenance contracts, pricing, and new service offerings. Cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing accounts is a significant part of this role.
- Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales, account retention, and profitability goals and quota
- Customer Communication: Effectively utilize phone, email, events, and outbound marketing campaigns to maintain open lines of communication with our clients.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate for escalations and inquiries, whether they are internal or external.
- Service Requests: Obtain service and product requests from customers and ensure timely responses and initiation of processing.
- Presentations: Conduct onsite or online presentations showcasing our services and products to active customers.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with our sales team to develop proposals, quotes, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You will also be responsible for onboarding and maintaining new assigned customers.
- Expectation Management: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our solutions and manage customer expectations throughout the account lifecycle.
- Documentation: Maintain in-depth product knowledge and ensure complete and accurate documentation of customer interactions, service tickets, and sales enhancement opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers to provide them with the best possible service and peace of mind.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities: - Actively participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our service catalog and how it addresses customer needs.
- Follow documented internal processes and procedures related to your role.
- Attend trade shows and marketing events as required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and a 'how can we' approach toward challenges.
- Be creative when necessary.
- Report liability situations to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Practice integrity, reliability, and honesty in all business transactions.
- Successful track record selling relevant technical products and/or support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and close the sales process.
- Proven success in developing and maintaining client relationships with a 90% or higher client retention rate.
- Strong consultation skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with customers.
- High energy, drive, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in general office applications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- The ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Highly proficient typing skills for quick and accurate data entry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Education and Experience: - A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferably in marketing, advertising, business management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-5 years of sales or customer relations experience.
- Familiarity with medical/dental office operations is a plus.
Position Details: - Location: On site in Cheshire, CT/ some travel to customer sites
- Compensation:$60- 64K base + performance based quarterly bonus up to 80K OTE, medical and dental benefits included.
