Job description
IT Operations ManagerQualifications:
Thorough knowledge of computer science and technology, database systems and a wide variety of software/hardware programs used in manufacturing.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Ability to trouble-shoot and perform systems analysis, determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
Demonstrated effective communication skills.
High level of math and writing skill.
Significant software, hardware, integration, and product/production acumen.
High level of reasoning and decision making.
Ability to effectively work in teams. Ability to influence and lead others.
Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor appropriate security procedures to safeguard system from physical harm and viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data.
Manage the development and support of applicable IT systems.
Interface directly with end-users, developers, and other IT staff.
Develop, program, and maintain integrated hardware/software systems to increase intranet efficiencies throughout the organization.
Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain software and hardware systems, including connectivity with internet and intranet.
Interact effectively with all departments and provide real time support to meet business needs. Work with third party providers as needed.
