Job description
Come work on our farm on Thixton LN in Fern Creek about 25 minutes from the restaurant! Learn about organic farming principles, get your hands dirty, and be a part of something cool!
In Season Farms was established in the fall of 2019 as a biodynamic, non-certified organic, market-garden farm focused on heirloom and open pollinated fruits and vegetables. The farm is an extension of our brand and integral piece of our operations. Located in the Fern Creek area located about 1 mile off Bardstown Rd on Thixton Ln, we are currently looking for dedicated and hardworking people who love to work outside! The farm is currently operating at about 20% capacity as we finish critical infrastructure projects as well as our wash/pack facility.
Responsibilities
> Manage tasks set by farm manager
> Weeding/Bed management
> Property landscaping weeding, mowing, weed eating etc.
> Harvesting, washing, and harvesting
> Green house maintenance
> Need to be able to lift 50 lbs multiple times in a day
