Job description

We are looking for Civil Litigation Attorneys to join our team. We are open to a wide variety of experience levels due to growth within our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing, persuasive speaking, and client interaction skills and will have extensive experience with litigation hearings, depositions, and trials.

Position Overview:

The Civil Litigation Attorney will provide legal advice and support to clients on a variety of civil litigation matters. They will be responsible for effectively managing caseloads, preparing pleadings, filing documents with the court, participating in hearings, depositions, and trials, and resolving pre-trial and trial disputes. The attorney must be able to effectively represent clients in a court of law and provide timely advice and counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate cases and interview clients and witnesses to ensure accuracy of case facts.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• File documents with court and manage case calendar.
• Advise clients on the legal ramifications of their actions or decisions.
• Negotiate out-of-court settlements and resolve pre-trial and trial disputes.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Excellent research, writing, persuasive speaking, and client interaction skills.
• Ability to effectively represent clients in a court of law and provide timely advice and counsel.

Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package including eligibility for subjective and objective bonuses and student debt repayment assistance. The yearly salary range is between $100,000$275,000 depending on location and experience.
