Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) * The key purpose of the role is to effectively and efficiently produce a digital clinical record for the purposes of timely access and retrieval by staff * The role forms part of the Administration team covering sickness and annual leave * The focus of this role is on creating accurate records, providing excellent customer service and providing general Administration duties across the hospital as needed with exposure to many different areas The hours of work are Monday to Friday and you will need to be available from 7.30am to 6pm to cover various areas as needed, working 56 hours per fortnight. The salary for this role is $65,627 per annum pro rata. Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) You will have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service. You will be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage but is not essential. You'll be highly empathetic, respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality and will have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
