Job description

Provides patient care and technical skills in the operation of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs of patient’s body for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. 

Performs tasks like: Preparing patient for MRI procedure by accurately assessing patient’s needs and providing patient education; Operating magnetic resonance imaging scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images; and Evaluating radiographs, video tape, and computer generated information for technical quality.
