Description
The Salesforce Government Cloud seeks a proactive self-starter to fill the Senior Technical Program Manager role. This person will be a strategic, operational partner to our extended GovCloud teams in the larger commercial salesforce. This is a key role for a results-oriented person who can communicate effectively, encourage sound decision-making, and successfully guide their teams to deliver on time driven commitments. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in Government compliance frameworks, primarily focusing on engineering or technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sophisticated, high-profile, cross-functional programs across Salesforce teams.
- Lead multiple projects and project teams simultaneously across multiple orgs, business units, and partners, ensuring program goals are met.
- Prioritize project planning, weekly meetings, and program communications
- Identify and remove impediments that block the team’s ability to meet program objectives
- Thrive in ambiguity and be comfortable working without all the details
- Adapt quickly and easily to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
- Facilitate team discussions and resolve issues
- Partner with program teams and project collaborators to identify requirements, set timelines, define RACIs, identify and resolve risk
- Identify, develop, and roll out new processes and/or streamline existing processes, where applicable.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project/program management experience in the technology space
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to understand and drive creative and technical conversations to committed solutions
- Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration
- Ability to lead in a cross-functional, matrixed management environment and proven experience working with teams across multiple business units and functions
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with leaders, technical and non-technical team members alike
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and the ability to effectively use common PM tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheets, Google Docs, etc.).
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, agile, forward-thinker capable of working complex problems, identifying innovative solutions and delivering against tight deadlines, maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil, who does not hold dual citizenship, and who agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position. Must be a U.S. Citizen operating on U.S. Soil with ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan. Due to the citizenship requirement for this role, which supports U.S. federal, state, and/or local government customers, citizenship will be verified through two of the following REAL ID Act documents: U.S. Passport, Passport Card, REAL Driver's License, Global Entry Card, U.S. Government CAC/PIV.
