A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN MANAGER / HEAD COOK

As a Kitchen Manager / Head Cook in the food service industry, you are responsible for ensuring that the operations of our restaurant run smoothly. You manage a team of employees and coordinate the schedule to make sure our restaurant is always staffed appropriately. Working alongside the owner, you assist with controlling food costs and keeping our kitchen stocked with quality ingredients. You are in charge of interviewing and hiring new employees to join our hospitality team as well as terminating employees when necessary. Our restaurant is always in great shape with you as part of our cooking team, and you love being in a position that does such important work!

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A KITCHEN MANAGER / HEAD COOK

Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you highly organized and attentive to detail? Can you balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you able to effectively lead and mentor others? Do you work well both independently and as part of a team? WORK SCHEDULE

This full- or part-time kitchen management position in hospitality works flexible hours between 9 AM - 10 PM . This gives you the opportunity to work your full hours in 4 days instead of 5!
