This is a full-time position that works 8-hour shifts between 7:30a -6pm, Monday - Friday. The pay is $15 -16 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. The position is onsite at our center located: 6225 Hazeltine National Dr Orlando, FL 32822.

The Preschool Teacher plans and implements curriculum, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children. Youll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children. 

If you are energetic, creative, and enjoy working with young children who are just beginning to discover their world independently, please contact us. Duties include encouraging children ages 12 months to 36 months to explore appropriate toys, books, sensory activities, etc. Feeding, diapering, and communicating with parents is also a daily part of the routine. A successful candidate must be organized, well prepared for the day, be prompt, have excellent attendance, and work well with other teammates. 

What Youll Do: 

Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children 
Understanding the developmental stages of early childhood 
Implement sensory-rich, age-appropriate lesson plans 
Encourage children to develop language skills 
Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation 
Encourage independent feeding and self-help skills 
A well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering, eating, and napping 
Track childrens progress and report to parents 
Collaborate with other educators 
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards 

What We Need from You: 

Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher 
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods 
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms 
Excellent communication and instructional skills 
Ability to act as mediator between children 
Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable 
Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen 
Certification in child CPR 
FL DCF mandated 45 hours required  and CDA preferred
