Seeking Seasonal, Part Time Music Assistants to join our Divisional Music Department Team

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position will assist the Music Department in operating the Divisional Music and Arts Conservatory, Divisional Music and Arts Camp and Corps Music Week Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Music and Arts Conservatory and Music, Arts and Jr. Soldier Camp
- Assist with setting up and preparing for music ministries at Long Point Camp
- Conduct and/or assist in devotions
- Participate/lead in chorus as assigned by
- Participate/lead elective classes
- Meet each day with member of Music and Arts Department
- Assist in other duties assigned by the Divisional Music Director and/or Assistant Divisional Music Director.
Corps Summer Music Week
- Organize a 5-day music program at their local corps in conjunction with Corps Officer and/or Local Officer
- Identify a minimum of 6 students to participate in the week
- Work with the Divisional Music Department to identify proper curriculum and music
- Make all copies of materials needed for classes
- Identify potential volunteers with the help of Corps Officers and/or Local Officer
- Plan a daily schedule
- Set up a performance schedule for students involved
- Meet daily (virtually) with member of the Music Department

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Proficient in performing and teaching a music discipline
- Uniformed Salvationist
- Age 15 - 21
