Cost Accountant – Your Job Duties

You are THE hub for recording, analyzing and reporting all of the company’s manufacturing costs.

• Record and monitor manufacturing and processing cost information – including many SKUs and various types of products, across multiple production facilities and business units
• Work in tandem with the Director of Finance to generate cost accounting reports and perform analysis of data
• Collaborate with FP&A Manager, Director of Finance and finance and accounting team to provide information regarding cost variances, standard costs and analysis
• Participate in developing standard costs of goods

Cost Accountant - You Are (Required):

• A strong cost accountant – manufacturing cost accounting, food or consumer packaged goods / inventory accounting is your passion and area of expertise
• You are self directed, collaborative and flexible – working in an established business that is undergoing process improvements and the next phase of growth
• Experienced with larger ERP accounting platforms
• Able to travel to company HQ in Northern California as needed for meetings

Cost Accountant - You Might Have (Desired, Not Required)

• Experience with Nav accounting software platform
• Prior experience in public accounting (auditing manufacturing companies)

Compensation $85,000 to $95,000, salaried plus annual incentive compensation.

Position is hybrid. You will work from your home office with travel to the HQ in Northern California several times per month for team meetings. You may also travel to manufacturing facilities as needed.
