Salary Range: $153,000 - $171,000
Hybrid Environment
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, evaluate and develop an engaged and knowledgeable workforce that understands our commitment to unparalleled service to members and colleagues including appraising performance and providing prompt feedback in an open and honest manner.
- Provide management and strategic direction of the credit union’s consumer lending product lines of business (Direct and Indirect Auto Lending, Home Equity Lines of Credit, Boat, Recreation Vehicle, Motorcycle and Business Unsecured Loans and Lines of Credit).
- Lead the loan underwriting, processing, closing, and funding functions and strategy with an emphasis on monitoring and ensuring the credit quality of the entire loan portfolio while mitigating risk and maximizing potential business opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and objectives as well as regulatory requirements while also ensuring the policies and procedures facilitate efficient and effective business practices.
- Manage product implementation and administration, sales, and operations of third-party vendor management, and internal and external partnerships.
- Analyze loan portfolio data to determine the impact on financial results and the level of success. Compare activity with predetermined objectives and initiate revised processes to improve lending productivity, efficiency, performance, and profitability.
- Make recommendations to senior management based on changes within lending practices and trends including technological advancements, consumer needs and preferences.
- Collaborate effectively with the credit union’s Marketing, Retail, Business Intelligence and other internal partners to develop and implement initiatives designed to optimize the member and employee experience.
- Prepare, implement, and manage department budget to be consistent with overall strategic plan.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS)
- Seven years of leadership experience in the lending or financial services industry

Physical Demands
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing and use of computer.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
- Work requires the ability to speak and hear on a consistent basis.
- Communicating with others to exchange information via voice, email, teams etc.
- Hybrid role which requires the ability to report into the office as requested
