Job description
The Opportunity:
OpenText is seeking an Account Executive who is enthusiastic about the retail business and strategies, and owns and leads our partnerships for our industry-leading Consumer product lines including Webroot. Reporting to the Director of Retail Sales, this position will be responsible for the continued partnership and growth of our retail partnerships with a focus on Amazon, Walmart, and other accounts. You will be called upon to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams, driving and developing growth and GTM strategies that result in exceeding revenue targets.
You Are Great At:
- Driving and growing sales at strategic retail accounts like Amazon and Walmart through partnering, innovation and creating strategic sales programs.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of retail industry trends, corporate strategy, competitive landscape, product knowledge and existing portfolio gaps relative to current strategic imperatives to go to market opportunities.
- Reporting on the performance of implemented initiatives, platforms, and business performances informally or through formal quarterly business reviews.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams and management on budgets and forecasting.
- Work with cross-functional teams and collaborate with all levels of management internally and externally to build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships and achieve business objectives.
- Manage executive-level contacts with key partners, including QBRs, and C-level stakeholder management.
- Understanding the use of marketing materials, tools, and campaigns to help drive business performance.
What It Takes:
- Proven experience driving successful programs through retail partners.
- Strong E-commerce/E-tail knowledge and a deep understanding of Amazon platforms and integration is a plus.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and people skills. Adept at understanding and contributing to conversations with colleagues in technical functions around product specifications.
- Motivated, self-directed, self-starter, and confident individual contributor who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Be innovative and creative, and have integrity and humility.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Undergraduate degree
This job is expected to pay in the range of $110,000 to $220,000 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
