Job description

Envision is seeking an experienced PRN Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at HCA Florida Westside Regional Medical Center in the Fort Lauderdale area.

{Note: Clinicians must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of recent EM experience as an NP or PA. Only those qualified will be contacted ; no new graduates please}.

Position Profile:

• 55,000 ER visits per year
• 43-bed ED
• APP Coverage: 24 hours of coverage Sat and Sun; 36 hours of coverage Mon-Fri
• EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, and dragon dictation
• Approximately 15% pediatrics
• Admission rate approximately 25%
• Comprehensive stroke faculty with new biplane
• 24-hour in-house hospitalists
• 24-hour in-house intensivists
