**Note** Open to someone REMOTE in this position within the Eastern or Central time zone due to interaction with team in Germany. If REMOTE, the expectation would be willingness to travel one-week every other month including potentially to Torc EU in Stuttgart, Germany.

Meet the Team: 

Join the Autonomous Driving Kit Hardware Team, where we deliver cutting-edge ECU, EDR, Logging, and Telematics components that are rigorously tested and validated for Torc's autonomous driving trucks. Your role will make a significant impact on the future of trucking and autonomous technology as we look to Drive the Future of Freight. We are currently seeking a SeniorEngineering Manager who is enthusiastic about thriving in a hands-on environment and ready to expand their team. In this role you will manage a team through the RFI (Request For Information) and CRS (Component Requirements Specification) phase and handle the RFQ (Request For Quote) process for components such as ADC, the main compute of the truck, and telematics. 

Our primary mission revolves around meeting the needs of customers distributed across Torc and Daimler Trucks, all while maintaining a cost-effective design. To accomplish this, we need individuals who can bring innovative ideas, possess a consultative mindset, and foster strong relationships with various teams in the USA, Canada, and Germany. 

What you'll do:  

The Senior Engineering Manager for the AD-Kit Team will be responsible for component ownership, working cross-functionally to define requirements, developing across the product life cycle, and implementing the latest ECU, EDR, Logging and Telematics systems that drive our autonomous trucks.

US Pay Range

$195,500—$234,600 USD
