Job description

This is Monday through Friday 7am-3pm
Responsibilities for this job include:
The CNC Operator/Machinist will produce machined parts by operating HAAS, Milltronic, Fanuc or other (CNC) machine. You will be responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies, 1st article inspection.
Daily duties:
Performs skilled machining operations, including but not limited to; laser cutting/drilling, milling, sawing, tapping and grinding to extremely close tolerances according to customer specifications.
Sets up and operates a broad range of machines including Laser machines, CNC Mills, horizontal boring mills, grinders, drill presses and lathes.
Interfaces with supervision, toolmakers, engineers, program managers and quality personnel to resolve problems and ensure that parts are manufactured to customer specifications
Uses all types of inspection and measuring devices to check and verify tooling and parts
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has 1+ years of prior CNC experience and demonstrates a great attitude and consistent work ethic.
If you have:
Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing background, preferably in Aerospace.
Must have experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools including grinders, saws, drill presses and band saws
Must have experience with a wide variety of measuring and inspection devices
Must be able to pay exception attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures and complete assignments accurately and on time
Must have experience in interpreting all types of engineering drawings and documents
Education Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required.
