Job description
The Process Technician will have a primary focus on machines running to process book, ensuring quality parts are going to the operator, proper set up of mold changes and color changes. In this role the process tech is responsible for Injection Molding machines.
3rd shift (11pm - 7am)
$5,000 sign on bonus
- Proficient in press startups/shutdowns
- Good understanding of decoupled molding/scientific molding techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot minor/medium process problems
- Ability to make EOAT adjustments to improve part extraction
- Demonstrates strong ability to verify process to set up
- Demonstrates ability to monitor/train lower-level tech support
- Able to proficiently apply scientific/decoupled molding techniques to set up and troubleshoot processes
- Ability to set up/program all in house robots
- Understanding of all machines in-house
- Ability to document new and / or changing set up documentation
- Routinely tracks mold repair requests, filing them with the tool department to achieve preventative maintenance / tool repair documentation
- Ability to perform cycle time improvements
- Ability to perform all material handling duties / die setter duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 3+ years as a Process Technician on Injection Molding Machines
- 3+ years Automotive experience
- Ability to pass Hilo, overhead crane, Lockout/tagout training
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
