This position oversees the health and wellbeing of the residents in Larmax's nine homes. He/she will be an important member of the care team at Larmax, with room to grow in responsibilities, skills, and leadership. He/she will work side-by-side with our exceptional nursing and operations teams to guide the company's delivery of high-quality services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licensed as a RN/LPN in either Maryland or Virginia
• A strong desire to work with the elderly population and exceptional clinical skills.
• Previous experience working with the elderly required.
• Previous hospice, nursing home, or home health care experience a plus
• Must be able to work autonomously.
• Demonstrated skill in the oversight and management of care as well as working with other health care professionals.
• Knowledgeable in techniques for training others to excel.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems and implement solutions.
• If you are and RN, you must be a delegating nurse with a 16 hour course certificate from the state of Maryland.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting families in the management of health care for the residents
• Monitoring clinical signs is needed to track and maximize each resident's wellbeing.
• Providing staff with calm, professional direction when health concerns arise and communicating frequently and sensitively with family members regarding the same.
• Assist with investigating and recording incidents.
• General record-keeping and filing as needed and as dictated by state regulations.
