Job description
The Client Care Supervisor is a leadership role that directly supervises the client care teams. The CCS is responsible for mentoring and educating the client care team members in client relations, best practices, company policies, and leadership to ensure continued personal and professional growth of all team members as well as world class service to clients. This role works in partnership with two other Client Care Supervisors and the Department Hospital Manager.
Compensation range: Compensation is based on experience, education, and skill level: $28 - $36 per hour.
Schedule: This role will be primary support for the Evening Emergency Department reception team
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate staffing plans within budget constraints, reviewing levels regularly.
- Support department HSM in recruitment, training, payroll, and employee management.
- Monitor and coordinate time-off requests for client care staff.
- Monitor client care projects for timely completion and address operational issues.
- Manage employee performance and performance management plans as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate regular performance reviews.
- Oversee client care daily operations, ensuring Handbook compliance and fair practices.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve client concerns, complaints with tact and diplomacy.
- Coordinate with HSM on projects, expense controls, schedules, and operational procedures for efficiency.
Required Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
- Minimum two years in supervisory role required.
- Minimum of three years in customer relations/service role required.
- Experience with information systems and/or point-of-sale systems required.
- Previous veterinary experience strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements
This is an emergency veterinary environment in which you may be required to remain standing on your feet for multiple hours at a time and may require stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and carrying during the course of the work shift.
Schedule Requirements
This role has a set schedule with a primary focus on being present on the floor during high volume times. However, the CCS role requires the ability to be flexible for coverage in times of urgent need
