Intern: Control Systems Engineer

Job description

Controls Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (individual who is looking to do controls/programming work)

• Provide automation project support (i.e., develop/update loop drawings, develop simulation code, develop/update graphics)
• Other duties as assigned

Prospective engineering interns will gain experience / be trained on:

• Working safely in a chemical plant / industrial setting
• Gain insight into engineering and programming design work and quality verification.
• The engineering process and how engineers function as part of company
• Learn software application OSI PiVision, Rockwell Automation software suite
• Learn how to read P&ID and Instrument loop drawings

Qualifications:

• Working towards a 4-year engineering bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written and ability.
• Ability to work well in a team and individual environment.
