Service Technician Responsibilities
- Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform skilled mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and conduct routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
- Efficient Workflow: Utilize your expertise to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs, providing high-quality service to our valued customers.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues, ensuring accurate and effective repairs.
- Technical Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, service procedures, and industry advancements, enhancing your skills and expertise.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your teammates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership
- Strong understanding of the service drive
- Years of experience vary per position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
