Job Title : Web Developer/ E-Commerce

Job Type: Direct Hire; 100% Onsite
Location: San Diego, CA 92008
Salary Range: $63,000 - $95,000 + 12.5% bonus

Position Overview:

The Web Developer position is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, ensuring seamless integration within a global digital ecosystem to enhance the customer experience in Ecommerce. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with various digital platforms, fostering creativity, and staying at the forefront of technology with continuous updates and improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and update company websites and digital marketing initiatives.
  
• Maintain, expand, and scale website content and digital projects.
  
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to translate vision into tangible results.
  
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies and apply them to operations and activities.
  
• Perform UI designs and coding, creating reusable objects and templates, wireframes for web pages and email templates.
  
• Manage maintenance, updates, expansions, and scaling of each design.
  
  

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Proven working experience in web development.
  
• In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
  
• Familiarity with SQL DB, Power BI; Progress experience is a plus.
  
• Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services (APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design (UI)).
  
• Basic knowledge of the Search Engine Optimization process.
  
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  
• Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
  
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

The posted range for this position is $63,000 to $95,000, representing the expected starting base salary range for a new-to-role employee. Factors such as education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location, and internal equity contribute to determining employee pay within this range.
