This professional will contribute to experiential, didactic, laboratory, and small group instruction of DVM students as well as training of house officers and/or graduate students. The successful candidate will join a team environment, working closely with colleagues in the Production Management Medicine service and Large Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery services, while establishing relationships with other colleagues within the VMCVM and across the University.

The candidate must demonstrate commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Preferred:

Preferred qualifications include previous experience working with veterinary students in a clinical environment; 5+ years of clinical experience with food animal species; successful completion of a residency training program in an AVMA-recognized specialty, including but not limited to those approved by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, American College of Preventive Veterinary Medicine, American College of Theriogenology, or American College of Internal Medicine; and an advanced degree (MS/PhD) in biomedical sciences.
