Position : SCM Director (Supply Chain Manager)
Location : Plymouth, MN; St. Paul, MN
Term : Full time Role
The Director of IT Supply Chain develops Information Technology plans and strategy for Daikin's supply chain. Manages IT activities, resources, and budgets. Ensures IT activities are aligned with business needs. Oracle R12+ or higher, Supply Chain Cloud Planning experience preferred.
A Day in the Life:
- Manages all supply chain related projects, data, systems, and resources.
- Directs and controls the activities related to data planning and development and the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to its management, security, maintenance, and utilization.
- Work with supply chain business leadership to develop short- and long-term plans to ensure organization's needs are met and advance digital transformation initiatives.
- Manages and works with internal Daikin Applied IT resources and offshore vendor partners.
- Provides guidance and counsel to executives in the examination and definition of objectives for existing or proposed systems and in the design of improved systems utilizing data analytics.
- Directs the continuing review of present systems and methods and the formulation of new and revised system, examining techniques in use and determining appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Research new developments in hardware and software. Keeps abreast of latest developments and studies regarding effective procedures and methods in software customization.

What you will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- 8+ years related experience (In Supply Chain with experience in Oracle R12 or SAP ) and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- May require travel (5%)
