Job description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Controller with a proven track record of successfully implementing ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes and controls, coupled with hands-on experience in leading ERP implementation projects. This position will play a critical role in optimizing our financial operations, streamlining processes, and driving organizational growth through the effective use of technology. This position includes salary and equity within the company and is remote 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of a new ERP system, from initial planning and vendor selection to full deployment and integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and external consultants, to define project requirements, develop implementation strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Assess current financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation through the ERP system.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures within the ERP system to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
- Provide guidance and support to finance and accounting teams throughout the implementation process, including training, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of the ERP system.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ERP system functionality, providing recommendations for enhancements and optimization opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for refinement and continuous improvement post-implementation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials for the ERP system.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in ERP systems and financial technology, proactively recommending updates and enhancements to maximize system capabilities.
