GENERAL PURPOSE :

Love the treasure hunt when shopping at Ross and dd's? The Allocation Department truly supports the Ross Stores, Inc. treasure hunt philosophy by ensuring that the right product is in the right place at the right time. In order to efficiently accomplish the Department's purpose, there are six main teams that Analysts might be hired to support:

1. Assortment Management : Executing the treasure hunt. This team is responsible for getting the right product to stores. This group partners closely with merchants and planners in our buying offices as they work to create optimal customer choices at the store level with a broad range of styles.

2. Plan Achievement : This team is responsible for getting the product to the right place. This group is focused on effectively replenishing product to ensure that Stores continue to receive the receipts needed to drive sales and achieve the inventory plan. The team collaborates across multiple teams to develop and execute product strategies.

3. Receipt Management : This team is responsible for getting the product to move at the right time. This group is focused on working closely with the merchandising and supply chain divisions to support production at distribution centers by maintaining an appropriate product flow in a timely manner.

4. Allocation Operations : This team schedules and oversees the execution of project plans, creates programs that automate reports/tools and runs daily operations and system support. This group regularly works with each other and with department leadership to implement ongoing internal process changes that address business demands creating increased efficiency and effectiveness throughout the department.

5. Allocation Strategy : This team is responsible for strategic business support. This group executes a diverse range of assignments, projects, and analytics to support the department's strategic initiatives. They work through large amounts of data to develop insights and recommendations to the business including inventory, sales, shrink and more.

6. Allocation Budget, Communication & Training : This team is responsible for a variety of Allocation support including recruiting reports, onboarding, developing new hire training, developing department engagement activities, creating and delivering organizational announcements through the department's portal or email and more.

Across the department, Associates apply established policies and procedures to complete tasks and resolve issues. They follow organizational best practices in analyzing situations or data and builds stable working relationships within Allocation. Candidates are collaborative team members who are accountable for the execution of essential Allocation operations. In this role, the Analysts are building their foundational skills.

The base salary range for this role is $66,560 - $91,850. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
