Remote opportunity but will require occasional travel to MD where current projects are.

We are a prime multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm that has been serving our clients in the public and private sectors in DC-MD-VA for over 30 years. We are experience tremendous growth with about 40 prime on-call contracts with various public sector clients. As such we are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our team!

Who you are:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience
- Experience with Design of maintenance of traffic, signing plans, marking plans, etc.
- VA PE license required
- Proficient in traffic simulation software
- PTOE a plus
What you will be doing:
- Analyze traffic data and patterns to identify and solve traffic problems and improve traffic flow and safety
- Design and develop traffic plans and models using traffic simulation software and other tools
- Conduct traffic studies and surveys to collect and evaluate traffic information and feedback
- Prepare and present traffic reports and recommendations to stakeholders and clients
- Coordinate and collaborate with other engineers, technicians, contractors, and agencies on traffic projects
- Review and ensure compliance with traffic policies, regulations, and standards
