Job description

Our client, a private household are looking for a top-notch Houseman to join their household team. This role has the option to be either fulltime or part-time.

As the Houseman you would be working with the household team on maintenance, handyman tasks and assisting the housekeepers as needed. You must be comfortable working in the presence of the principal and respectable of their privacy, while also anticipating any needs. The home also has pets so you must be comfortable with animals.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance / walk throughs of the home
• Working with vendors as needed
• Indoor and outdoor maintenance – will include a pool
• Setting up for events / breaking down afterwards
• Deep cleaning
• Heavy lifting

The Candidate
Their ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of previous experience as either a houseman, grounds man, handyman or housekeeper, along with knowledge of working within a high-end private household. Must also be tech-savvy. A no job is too small attitude and is comfortable with anticipating the needs of the principal to create a seamless experience. Must also be discreet and maintain confidentiality. Along with a great work ethic.
