Position Summary: The Enrollment Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Department, which includes leadership and mentoring of enrollment staff, coordinating enrollment functions, collaborating with fiscal management on the calculation/collection of member obligation, and developing enrollment plans to support strategic goals. This role is pivotal in representing Lakeland Care, Inc. (LCI) with external stakeholders, including building and maintaining strong relationships with the Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) and the Department of Health Services (DHS).
This position is also responsible for conducting regular analysis of enrollment data, assists in financial budgeting, and develops plans to address variances in enrollment trends. The Enrollment Manager works in collaboration with other leaders and departments to provide accurate, timely, and relevant enrollment information for organizational decision making.
Responsibilities & Competencies:
- Forecast organizational enrollment projections; develop plans to support enrollment by performing root cause analysis and present findings to various levels of leadership.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret enrollment data; identify trends to assist with enrollment reporting and forecasting that influence LCI's decision-making ranging from staffing levels to strategic goals, and marketing campaigns to the annual budget.
- Serve as organizational subject matter expert(s), and on any internal or external workgroups, pertaining to Family Care eligibility, Medicaid, and member financial obligations.
- Foster stakeholder relationships involving county and regional ADRCs, Income Maintenance agencies and DHS staff through a collaborative approach.
- Maintain a high performing workforce through appropriate recruitment, onboarding, and growth of employees.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities) preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Medicaid eligibility.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leadership.
- Ability to lead and develop staff and others across a wide spectrum of backgrounds.
- Ability to summarize complex and technical information for lay and expert audiences required.
- Knowledge in automated systems and software including MS Office Suite products and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of state Medicaid information systems (Forward Health and CARES) essential.
- Knowledge of the Wisconsin Long Term Care Functional Screen.
- Exemplary customer service and business acumen skills.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and team-oriented environment with multiple priorities and objectives required.
- Respond to various operational, county, community, customer, or employee situations and fulfill multiple priorities within established deadlines.
- Knowledge or experience with managed care, insurance, or healthcare industry operations and functions preferred, knowledge of Family Care program a plus.
- Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and proof of adequate insurance required.
