Campus Compact for New Hampshire (CCNH) is a nonprofit higher education consortium that works to improve learning and strengthen communities by integrating service and civic responsibility throughout college life.
CCNH collaborates with the New Hampshire College & University Council and other community and business partners to administer high-impact initiatives such as GEAR UP , New Hampshire Scholars , and AmeriCorps VISTA . These and other initiatives help students succeed in school while providing millions of dollars in services in areas like education, environmental sustainability, health care, poverty, food insecurity, and more.
The Opportunity
The Administrative Officer Manager is a key position within the two organizations and is responsible for coordinating all general office services to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and professional operation of the office. The Office Manager is expected to use independent judgment, a high level of discretion and to be a flexible team player. But it's more than that. Your work will help us make a lasting impact on students and communities across New Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the NHCUC and CCNH leadership team, including scheduling
- Provide excellent front-office support by warmly greeting and welcoming visitors and consistently handling general telephone inquiries with a timely and efficient manner.
- Consistently handles mail operations, including opening, date stamping, and distribution, while also prioritizing important mail and materials, scanning invoices for billing, and preparing cash receipts for incoming checks.
- Coordinate and support various events, both virtual and in-person, including travel arrangements for the leadership team and grant-required conferences, setting up and hosting Zoom platforms, organizing agendas, coordinating speakers, room reservations, AV, refreshments, and meeting room reservations. Additionally, assist in preparations associated with Board of Directors, including scheduling meetings and recording minutes as requested.
- Coordinate travel arrangements as needed for Executive Director and President
- Efficiently manage purchasing requests, including handling credit card receipts, once approved by supervisors.
- Coordinate and manage calendars, both organizational and individual for the leadership team. Also, oversee regular staff meetings, including agenda development, task sheets, notes, Zoom setup, and meeting notifications.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies and purchases supplies and materials to ensure sufficient supply levels
- Efficiently manage documentation and information tasks, including maintaining files and documents in an organized manner, compiling and formatting various sources of information for the leadership team, and collecting and filing documents from the offices of the NHCUC President and CCNH Executive Director on a weekly basis.
Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with the Zoom and other virtual platforms
- Ability to handle sensitive information with high level of confidentiality and discretion
Position Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Three years of related experience, additional education may be substituted for years of work experience
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary $45,000 - $50,000
