Overview

As our Phlebotomist at CHI St Vincent Infirmary,  you will help many patients get excited about blood work. That’s a fact. Knowing this, we make sure we have the best Phlebotomists on our team to provide the highest level of patient care. We hire Phlebotomists who not only have the proper training and education to get the job done, but also have a special skill of putting our patients at ease when blood work is ordered. CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. • Obtain blood specimens by capillary or venipuncture puncture  
• Maintain integrity of specimen in relation to the test being performed 
• Disposes of contaminated lab supplies and specimens  
• Receives laboratory specimens, orders tests, processes specimens using the centrifuge and distributes specimens to appropriate testing areas communicating special instructions 
• Performs clerical duties

We are offering a $2,500 Sign on bonus to hires who meet hire requirements. We also offer referral incentives as well as relocation assistance. 

• High School diploma or GED 
• Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT, ASCP)
