The Office of New Student Programs (NSP) coordinates orientation and outreach programs for first-year, transfer and adult-learner students, as well as the family and friends who support them. NSP collaborates with a variety of campus partners to promote a successful transition to West Chester University by acclimating students and their supporters to academic and co-curricular services, resources for student success and achievement, and opportunities to connect with their peers, professors, and colleagues.   

Reporting to the Director, the Senior Associate Director is a key member of the Office of New Student Programs and enrollment management efforts. This position hires, trains and supervises undergraduate student workers; oversees orientation efforts focused on retention and building community including orientation registration, marketing, logistics, and the online pre-orientation program; and serves as a liaison to the Director of Enrollment Communication.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in supervising and training student workers, enrollment management, orientation programming, and marketing and advertising. They will also demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and establish relationships to support new student populations in a diverse campus community.

Salary and benefits are dictated by the State College and University Professional Association (SCUPA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
