JOB SUMMARY Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Corporate Responsibility team over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Corporate Responsibility department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge. Please note, the pay range being shown below is a technical error we are aware of and actively working to correct. The actual expected pay range for this role will be $15.00 - $21.00 / hourly, while adhering to local minimum wage requirements. Thank you for your understanding.

Assisting with employee nonprofit board matchmaking - via the Great Ideas platform along with the nonprofits seeking board members - analyzing grantee data for volunteer opportunities, supporting the foundation team with grants management, foundation board meetings, and attending meetings with staff and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required
• Current student or recent graduate pursing a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, IT, or related area of study required 
• Non-profit, volunteer experience
• Microsoft Office Proficiency
• Motivated to learn and improve operational processes 
• Able to demonstrate solid writing and verbal communication skills 
• Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail 
• Adjusts positively to quickly-changing priorities and shifting goals in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong numeric and problem-solving capabilities 
• Ability to manage projects in an effective and productive manner
