Essential Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget
- Working with facility management to develop department and project budgets
- Budget tracking and analysis
- Process purchase request, track vendor funding and prepare reports
- Verify final invoice pricing in a timely manner
- Maintains files on work orders, proposals, and department files
- Oversee assigned projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, to closure
- Develop schedules for facility projects when utilizing vendors
- Assist in the monitoring and assessment of vendor performance
- Monitor internal/external workflow for all facilities projects to ensure standards are met
- Use mechanical and electrical skill to troubleshoot facility equipment and make repairs
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility
- Shares knowledge and works closely with other team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years experience in overseeing facility projects
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business, engineering, or related field
- Experience within any of these industries (or similar construction industry): HVAC, Fire Alarm, Security
- Experience or knowledge of financial transactions and billing
- Ability to read and understand contract documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business software systems (e.g., SAP)
