The Center for Advocacy, Response and Education ( CARE ) is responsible for confidential advocacy and interpersonal violence prevention education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln ( UNL ).

The Advocate works to support survivors, as well as their allies, of sexual and relationship violence, stalking and sexual harassment within the UNL community. Under the supervision of the Director of CARE , the Advocate provides trauma-informed confidential services, referrals to campus and community resources and crisis response. The Advocate role will also include attending scheduled meetings at the University Health Center, University Police Department, Institutional Equity and Compliance, or other related appointments. While the Advocate's priority will be providing confidential advocacy, there will also be opportunities to work collaboratively developing, implementing, and facilitating various outreach, awareness and educational opportunities.
