HIRING A PHARAMCY TECHNICIAN IN SANTA CRUZ
Description:
Provides timely and accurate pharmaceutical and technical care, including procurement, storage, preparation, and distribution of medications and IV solutions, under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. This is performed in accordance with national and state standards, such as TJC and BOP. Able to perform functions related to compounding, packaging, labeling of medication products from bulk to unit dose. Perform sterile parenteral preparation procedures using proper aseptic technique. Must be able to work in high stress environment, and achieve work results in established timeframe. This position has access to protected health information. The protected health information this position can access is date of service information, Insurance/billing information This position requires this patient health information in order to perform the functions outlined as part of this position description
