Job description

Bright Beginnings, Inc. in Plantsville, CT is looking for one childcare worker to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 185 West Main St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. We offer a 401K match and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities
• Keep records of children's progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents
• Develop/create different activities for the classroom
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in this field is a plus
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, bend and stand
• CPR/First Aid/Med/Epi-Pen Certified is a plus or ability to obtain CPR certification
• Background check
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Must be reliable
