Job description
Description: This job requires driving, picking, and stocking, as well as, working in customer environments, bending, and lifting most of their day; not just pick up and drop offs.-Document packaging activity using radio frequency scanners and keyboard data entry.
-Driving truck-Pick orders on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment.
-Perform Cart Put Away, Restock Picking and assist with inventory cycle counts on floor level of warehouse using non-powered industrial equipment.
-Working with scanner all day to help move, pick and put away Items daily.
-Go to out to customer sites and assist putting racking up and moving inventory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Forklift operation required; all sit-down forklifts; FLO is as needed; this is not strictly a FLO job
- Usually picking parts till about 10:00am, then delivering parts till about 4:00pm but depends on the day
- Get product, scan it, locate product, pull, scan product, package and label, stage to be shipped out or palletize
- Computer system and labeled shelves work with scanner to tell you where everything is located
- Computer usage is key, but it’s not super complex
- Head level down is ‘pick level’ and above that is ‘overflow’
- When pick level is empty, must be replenished from overflow
- Inventory management
- Make sure parts go in correct packaging based on size
- Parts are counted by weight, so have to be able to operate a scale
