Job Opportunity: Program Financial Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity within our Health Solutions Business Area for a Program Financial Analyst. As a vital part of our team, you'll work under the guidance of our Finance & Business Operations Manager. We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to assist in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of all financial aspects of our programs.

Location: This role is fully telecommuting, and applicants must be located in the United States. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the Financial Business Operations Manager to support project team members in planning, tracking, and analyzing financial aspects of the program.
- Develop, maintain, and track Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries, as well as oversee work authorization processes, funding management, subcontractor management, and cost collection.
- Provide integrated analysis and reporting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) tracking/analysis.

Qualifications:

- A broad knowledge of financial analysis with the ability to analyze problems for root cause and identify corrective actions.
- Comprehensive understanding of cost and schedule development and controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a key member of a team.
- Strong background working with various contract types.
- Experience in project management or project control.
- Proficiency in analyzing and forecasting Income Statement performance.
- Experience with monthly invoice review, approval, and preparation.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition methods and program backlog positions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst OR Master's Degree and 2+ years' experience as a financial analyst.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables) and Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems and Contract Setup Processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power Pivot, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Prior experience in government contracting.

Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $124,550.00 (This range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, and skills will be considered.)
