The Application Support / Coreworx Global Administrator
has advanced knowledge within designated Information Technology (IT) area of responsibility that is applied to broad and diverse assignments and associated requirements. This role plans and coordinates activities related to the design, development, implementation and integration of IT solutions. This role will analyze, evaluate, and recommend innovative solutions. The Application Support / Coreworx Global Administrator applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems. Individuals in this position typically provide expertise and planning to a number of clients by overseeing, coordinating, and implementing medium to complex IT projects. This position may lead and guide other IT staff.

•Provide production support for critical enterprise web applications and environments
•Participate in the incident and problem management processes as a resolver accountable for resolution, root cause analysis, and reporting
•Ensure that all production changes are processed according to established change management policies and procedures.
•Interface with internal and external business and technical partners and cross functional IT departments.
•Foster a knowledge and understanding of clients’ and customers’ business issues and needs and how IT interrelates.
•Responsibilities for implementation of application installations, upgrades, patches, Active Directory maintenance, load testing, performance monitoring and optimization.
•Define standards and best practices; develop processes and scripts for automating and improving production support tasks.
•Administration of Windows 2012 operating system (up to latest version), SQL Server 2017 databases (up to latest version), web services, network device configuration, and administration of domain controllers/Active Directory.

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
•Minimum 5 years of IT related experience supporting critical enterprise web-based applications, IIS 6 or higher, Web server and administration in Windows 2012 (up to latest version), COM+ troubleshooting and administration.
•Experience with Javascript, AJAX, ASPX, HTML, DHTML, XML, and XSL. Knowledge and experience of TCP/IP, network administration, SSL, DNS, debugging tools, MS Active Directory Server, VB script, Power Shell, other scripting languages.
•Proven skills and experience with Windows 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2017 environment (up to latest version).
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience creating SQL stored procedures, SQL database tuning, creating indexes and creating/modifying triggers as required.
•Solid understanding and demonstrated skills in LANs, WANs, DMZ, in an enterprise environment.
•Demonstrates strong analytical and conceptual skills.
•Demonstrates strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both oral and written.
•Must be self directed, able to work independently and to work cross-functionally with other groups or customers when required.
•Certifications on the following is a plus: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA-Windows Server, SQL Server), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE-Server Infrastructure, Data Platform, Business Intelligence), or other applicable certifications are desired

• Accredited degree or global equivalent in Business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related discipline
• Literate in multiple business domains
• Ability to communicate and persuade all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
• Excellent analytical, technical, planning, and organizational skills
