Job description
A joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. Manage planning and construction engineering required to complete construction elements.
Determine and define scope of work and deliverables.
Assess resources required to complete Bridge Structures portion of the project.
Ensure necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites are satisfied and in place.
Manage execution costs.
Collaborate with the commercial team in respect of supply of materials and subcontractor selections.
Develop an equipment utilization plan and ensure effective equipment implementation.
Manage construction schedule and activities.
Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines.
Ensure work carried out in compliance with the Project Agreement.
Ensure that subcontractor and supplier relationships are maintained.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
10+ years in a Civil Engineering leadership role
Considerable years working on multi-million-dollar projects (100 million +++) in a leadership role
Experience on large highway, earthworks, bridge/structures, paving, and/or related projects
Proven project management experience
Experience creating and/or modifying construction processes and procedures
Strong understanding and interpretation of Engineering specifications and drawings
Strong analytical skillset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience establishing strong working relationships with clients (i.e. State DOT) and stakeholders preferred
$110,000-$130,000 Base Salary
