Job Summary
- The Regional Fi nance Manager, under direct supervision of the Regional Operations Director and working in conjunction with the Regions General Managers, Operations Managers is responsible for the overall SIG (Systems Integration) LOB ( line of business ) finances for the Region with primary responsibilities including applying principles of accounting to analyze job cost information records and reports to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information , timely invoicing and monthly forecasting of Job Costs.
- Direct reports to include the regions Project Accountants and Administrative Billing Specialists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Mentor and support development of Region’s Project Managers/Billing Specialists (direct reports)
- Serve as liaison between Operations and Sales for all ar eas of revenue cycle management
- Serve as point of escalation for Regional SIG LOB financial issues
- Maintain monthly operating reports, project review meetings and special projects as requested .
- Coordinate with Revenue Operations to ensure timeliness and accuracy of SIG project b illings. Facilitate monthly billings to include mitigation of unbilled amounts and appropriate management of billing schedules for General Contractor contracts .
- Responsible for accuracy of Job Cost WIP (work in progress) portfolio to ensure proper costing, percentage of completion, and revenue recognition . Continuous audit of WIP portfolio providing proactive reporting/analysis and countermeasures .
- Participate in ongoing job reviews with Project Managers, Operations Managers.
- Support Revenue O perations regarding the overall Cash Flow Cycle – Management/Analysis of DSO reporting, interfacing with AR/Collections as required to assist in region .
- Support Finance Department , participating in regular monthly WIP review, and audits.
- Support the monthly Revenue and Billing forecasting process (Schedule 4, Materials Receipts, Billings Forecast).
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of process improvement projects to optimize the regions efficiency and profitability .
- Provide ongoing assessment of complete revenue cycle process, technology, and productivity, with reporting of recommendations to the regional leadership team.
- Serve as a member of the Regional leadership team and provide contribution towards the culture and continue growth and success of the team.

Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives with a results-oriented approach
- Ability to analyze and create data models that can be articulated to management
- Detail oriented and capable of analyzing complex financial/operational data
- Demonstrate time management skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to motivate and effectively lead teams comprised of administrative /financial personnel toward a common goal
- Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
- Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 -7 years Management experience in similar or related field
- Experience developing and implementing business processes and streamlining operations
- Demonstrated knowledge interpreting and managing (work-in-progress) reports
- Experience operating in a complex matrix business environment is desirable
