Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to spearhead the design and implementation of a cutting-edge web server, fostering seamless remote access for multiple users through the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The focus of this project is to create an environment akin to Amazon Workspaces, providing users with shared access to essential software.

Key Features & Requirements:

Remote Access:
Enable users to connect to the server remotely through RDP from diverse devices and platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.).

Shared Software:
Facilitate uniform access to a predefined set of software during all RDP sessions.
Primary application of interest is "Total from Alamode," an appraisal software. Ensure smooth operation and accessibility for all users concurrently.

User Management:
Develop an intuitive interface or method for user management.
Responsibilities include adding/removing users, password resets, and monitoring user activity.

Security:
Implement top-tier security protocols to thwart unauthorized access.
Encrypt all connections and establish mechanisms for detecting and preventing malicious activities.

Performance:
Ensure the server delivers swift and seamless performance even under the load of multiple concurrent RDP sessions.

Backup & Recovery:
Deploy a robust backup and recovery solution to guarantee data safety and maintain application uptime.

Documentation:
Provide comprehensive documentation covering server architecture, software setup, user management, and any custom scripts or tools developed for this project.

Desired Qualifications:

Proven experience in the setup and management of RDP servers.
Familiarity with "Total from Alamode" software or similar applications.
Strong background in server security and performance optimization.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
