ManTech is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Data analyst and statistician for a prime contract. This position in support of our government customerand requires on-site work.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collect and analyze structured and unstructured data, producing statistical results and conclusions in understandable and informative products.
- Interpret CBP structured and unstructured data as well as other law enforcement agency data and exercise independent judgment to produce statistical analytic products using regression time series, confidence intervals, predictive modeling, and exploratory data analysis.
- Implement best practices, Agile Development Methodology/ Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to ensure design consistency for the best user experience.
- Use scientific inquiry in the independent development of statistical models to evaluate and predict illegal border activity.
- Develop models to test, analyze, and evaluate non-linear law enforcement datasets.
- Serve as an expert on modeling techniques such as regression, predictive, and time-series.
- Provide feedback and guidance on projects.
- Design, develop and maintain user-friendly data visualizations using complex datasets from different sources.
- Oversee the oversee the development and delivery of the Toolkits Release Notes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) customer Toolkits.
- Conduct training sessions to the end-users
- Assess and improve data integration and services through automation of customer missions and needs.
- Analyze and evaluate the accuracy and validity of data.
Required Qualifications:
- More than five years’ experience with data analytics with applying experimental theories and new developments to problems with data-driven perspectives and evidence-based decision-making.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the significant variables and their underlying relationships when applied in advanced analytics of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the agency's organizational structure, mission, operational policies, customers, and resource deployment to tailor research, analyses, and recommendations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint are required.
- Provide customer interface at senior levels of management with excellent oral and written communication skills are critical.
- A current Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation is required to start.
- A current TS/SCI is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the agency's organizational structure, mission, operational policies, customers, and resource deployment to tailor research, analyses, and recommendations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint are required.
- Provide customer interface at senior levels of management with excellent oral and written communication skills are critical.
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree and 9 years of relevant experience or a 15 years of relevant experience is required.
Clearance requirements:
- A current CBP Suitability Investigation is required to start (the government customer will process this request).
- A current TS/SCI is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
The projected compensation range for this position is $134,700-$224,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
