Job description
Role Description: Security Solution Design & Engineering (70%) Responsible for the technical design, configuration, maintenance, and support of network security solutions such as intrusion prevention systems, firewalls, web application firewalls, proxies, and load balancers. Provide subject matter expertise on Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation and micro-segmentation to include the development of policies, documentations, and processes for ongoing support. Knowledge and professional experience with AWS security solutions such as GuardDuty, CloudTrail, IAM, WAF, Shield, and Security Hub. In depth knowledge of networking architectures, routing protocols, CIDR and subnetting, VPNs, AWS Direct Connect, PrivateLink, VPCs, and Transit Gateways. Perform on-call duties by responding to and investigating security alerts, events, and notifications. Working knowledge in secure email gateway, SIEM, end-point protection, vulnerability management, threat hunting, application security, sandboxing, and isolation technologies. Administrative / Documentation (30%) Develop procedural, design, and configuration documentations. Assist the Sr Manager of Information Security with the development and review of metrics and KPIs. Assist in review of security policies and guide the administration of security tools as it relates to network security.
