Job description

Atlas Tech is looking for multiple Sentinel Experts who can migrate our on-premises Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems that collect, correlate, and analyze security data from various sources and provide real-time alerts and reports to cloud-based Sentinel. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure security services, Sentinel data connectors, analytics rules, playbooks, threat hunting, and will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud and hybrid environments, as well as providing guidance and support to other engineers and stakeholders.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $175,000, depending on experience.

You will:

• Plan and execute the migration of our existing SIEMs to Sentinel
• Configure and manage Sentinel data connectors to collect security data from various sources
• Create and use analytics rules to detect and investigate threats
• Create and use playbooks to automate threat response actions
• Use the threat hunting dashboard to proactively hunt for threats and generate incidents
• Monitor and report on the security posture and performance of Sentinel
• Create detailed reports for management on network activity and suggest recommendations accordingly

You have:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in Azure security services, such as Log Analytics, Storage, and Compute
• At least 2 years of experience in Sentinel or other cloud-native SIEM solutions (Splunk, Elastic, or other)
• Proficient in Azure Sentinel query language (KQL) and PowerShell
• Familiar with security best practices and frameworks, such as NIST, CIS, and ISO
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Azure Security Center to integrate identity and access management, and security policies with Sentinel
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure Defender to leverage the built-in threat protection solutions for Microsoft 365 and Azure resources

We would be impressed if you had:

• Certification in Azure Security Engineer or Azure Sentinel.
• Ability to use Power BI and Azure Monitor to create dashboards and reports for Sentinel data visualization and analysis
